AI Toolkit #2: eight features that save you typing

Scheduled tasks, camera and screen sharing, precise image edits, safer chat sharing and one-click exports: eight underused ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Copilot features, with UK plan details.

The first AI Toolkit was about settings: the switches that decide what your AI assistant keeps and learns. This one is about habits. The features below don't change what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot know; they change how much of the typing, describing and remembering you still do yourself.

AI Toolkit #2 covers eight features as of early October 2026: getting an assistant to do a job on a schedule without being asked, pointing a camera at a problem instead of describing it, editing one corner of a picture, sharing a chat without handing over your files, and taking your whole history with you if you change provider. Each tip gives the menu path, when it earns its keep, and which plans get it in the UK. There's also a prompt to try, plus a setting that tells you when to put the thing down.
